What you need to know about the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics
The Master of Nutrition and Dietetics (MND) is an entry-to-practice professional graduate program delivered over 28 months, combining on-campus learning with practice education placements across British Columbia. The curriculum covers advanced clinical nutrition, food provision management, leadership, business and entrepreneurship, counselling, Indigenous Peoples’ health, social justice, and professional dietetic practice.
Prospective students from a variety of undergraduate backgrounds who wish to become Registered Dietitians are encouraged to apply. Those who do not hold an undergraduate degree may consider the alternative entry-to-practice pathway through the undergraduate Dietetics Major.
The MND is delivered at UBC’s Vancouver–Point Grey campus, located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam). Practice Education Placements (PEP) take place in locations across British Columbia. We are privileged and thankful for the opportunity to teach and learn on the diverse lands of the Indigenous Peoples.
