Approach to Teaching:

I see learning as an individual and communal process of transformation. As an educator-practitioner, I am both a facilitator of that transformation and part of the community that is transformed. I enable transformative learning in my courses by explicitly valuing students’ diverse experiences, by embedding the classroom within the community, and by engaging students in critically-reflexive processes that model professional standards of practice.

Courses:

  • HUNU 573 – Population and Public Health Dietetics
  • HUNU 579 – Practice Education Placement I
  • FNH 480 – Professional Dietetic Practice II
  • 2017 & 2018: FNH 341 – Applications of Food Theory

Anna is the Practice Education Coordinator and student advisor for the Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics.
