Teaching

Approach to Teaching:

Learning is both an individual and communal process of transformation. As an educator-practitioner, I am a facilitator of that transformation and part of the community that is transformed. In my courses, I enable transformative learning by explicitly valuing students’ diverse lived experiences, by connecting the classroom to community through projects and partnerships, and by engaging students in critically-reflexive processes that model professional standards of practice.

Courses:

  • FNH 440/HUNU 541 – Food Provision Management
  • FNH 340/HUNU 540 – Food Theory and Application, including Teaching Kitchen
  • HUNU 573 – Population and Public Health Dietetics
  • MND Practice Education Placement Courses: HUNU 579, HUNU 582, HUNU 583
Additional Information

As the Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics Program Lead, Anna coordinates curriculum delivery and practice education experiences for Master of Nutrition and Dietetics students.
