Hall of Fame

We are excited to announce that nominations for the 2025 LFS Hall of Fame are now open!

The Faculty of Land and Food Systems (LFS) is proud to be one of UBC’s three founding Faculties – marking its first graduating class in 1921. Since that time, LFS has strived to be a catalyst for innovation and excellence, developing leaders who are addressing critical issues in health, nutrition, sustainability, and climate change in an ever-changing world.

Students, alumni, and faculty are building resilient food systems, advancing sustainable agriculture, enhancing food security, promoting healthier communities, and safeguarding animal welfare.

Launched in early July 2024, the LFS Hall of Fame recognizes alumni who have excelled in their fields and are contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future. Its inductees are innovators who inspire us to overcome obstacles, transcend limits, and work towards creating a better and brighter world.

Chosen by the LFS Young Alumni Council from a wide pool of nominations, alumni inductees exemplify the LFS spirit, achieving outstanding success locally, nationally, and internationally as graduates.

Deadline for nominations is Monday, January 20, 2025.
