NSERC Discovery Grants: These grants support ongoing research programs that focus on a long-term horizon, rather than single, short-term projects. They recognize creativity and innovation in research advances.

NSERC Create Grants

UBC researchers are leading two new training initiatives to train the next generation of scientists and engineers for their future careers through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s (NSERC) Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program. Read about UBC funded projects here.
