Peer-to-Peer Advising

I’m Melanie and I’m in my 3rd year of the Dietetics program. I transferred from the Faculty of Science, so you can ask me about the transferring process. I was born and raised in Vancouver, so feel free to ask me about what there is to do here (and my favourite sushi spots)! I’ve been involved in various clubs, worked as a teaching assistant for food science, orientation leader, and i’m a current WorkLearn student for LFS Student Services. All questions about student life, LFS, transferring faculties, getting involved, transition to university, food, and Vancouver/BC are my specialties.

My name is Bryna and I’m a year 3 Applied Animal Biology student from Calgary, Alberta. I’m interested in animal welfare and sustainable food systems. Some things I’ve gotten involved in throughout my time at UBC are volunteering at UBC’s student radio station, and doing a practicum at the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC for class-credit. Ask me about getting involved around campus and working part-time as a student!

I’m Lucy and I’m in my 4th year of the Dietetics major. I’m going into my practicum 5th year where I will be getting some hands-on experience in clinical settings. I am a transfer student from the Faculty of Science and would be happy to talk to you about my experience in both Faculties. I was born and raised in East Vancouver and can most definitely chat with you about where to explore when you’re here!
