LFS Research Café

Presented twice a year, the LFS Research Café is a one hour presentation by a researcher in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems.

Speaker: Justin Henry, Business Director, Aquaculture Certificate Program

Justin Henry, BSc., MEng., RPBio, leads an aquaculture consulting and advisory company and is the Business Director for the new Graduate Certificate in Aquaculture at UBC - the only graduate-level aquaculture program offered in Western Canada.

Topic: Launching the UBC Aquaculture Program

B.C. is the largest producer of farmed seafood in Canada, with more than 700 farms in the province. Justin will present on the industry today, what research is currently underway, and the new Graduate Certificate in Aquaculture.
