Engagement Support and Advising

The LFS Academic and Career Engagement (ACE) team hosts peer-to-peer events and workshops for undergraduate students throughout the year. It’s a great way to enhance your studies, grow your connections and develop your career path. You can participate as a student leader on the team or by attending one of the programs they facilitate throughout the year.

The LFS Mentorship Program pairs undergraduates with industry professionals to provide an enriching career-building experience, where you can learn about various career pathways. You’ll gain insights, advice and support while also growing your professional network.

There are lots of ways to connect with those who share your interests at UBC. Many of these clubs, associations and organizations are particularly relevant to LFS students. Please reach out to the LFS Student Engagement Officer for more information.

The Land and Food Systems Undergraduate Society organizes events to build a shared sense of community among LFS undergraduate students. It also represents the LFS student voice on campus.
