FOOD 500/600 and HUNU 531/631: The FNH Graduate Seminar is an important component of graduate training, with objectives and learning outcomes that are unique compared to other graduate courses. Seminar presenters gain experience and confidence in communicating information on complex scientific topics to an audience with a diverse background. In addition, attending the weekly Graduate Seminar provides the opportunity to become informed about and engage in discussions on a variety of topical issues in Food Science and Human Nutrition, many of which are not addressed in other course work. It is also an opportunity to learn about research activities of students throughout the Food Science and Human Nutrition graduate programs.
The Grad Seminar takes place Fridays at 12:30 – 1:30pm.
- COURSE OUTLINE and EXPECTATIONS can be found in the Graduate Seminar Handbook
