How to Register: Micro-certificate in Food Safety Management

Tuition: $905 per UBC course, $3,500 for full certificate (incl. BCIT course)

Full Certificate Registration

The full certificate includes three UBC courses and one BCIT course.

Individual Course Registration

All UBC courses are delivered in virtual/online format. The BCIT Internal Auditor Training is in-person.

Fundamentals of Food Science for Professionals (FoodCert010)

Food Safety Management Principles, Laws and Regulations (FoodCert020)

Designing and Implementing a Traceability Program (FoodCert030)

Internal Auditor Training (FOOD2170)

Students who have completed the necessary prerequisite course (FoodCert020) will be forwarded to BCIT for registration.

This program qualifies for the StrongerBC future skills grant. This grant is open for British Columbians aged 19+, and covers up to $3,500 of training. Visit the main micro-certificate page for more information here.
