Meeting the minimum academic standing alone will not guarantee you will be accepted in to the minor. Please give careful thought to your academic plan as part of your application, as it is important to demonstrate you have thought your proposal through before submitting.
Please submit the completed form no later than March 31.
Please state in a letter of intent of no more than 500 words (a) your aspirations pertaining to completing a Minor in Fermentations in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems, including how the Minor in Fermentations fits with your career goals; (b) a detailed course plan that outlines how you will integrate the 18 credits into your major requirements. Please address your letter to the attention of LFS Student Services.
Students should note that of the 18 credits required for the minor, a maximum of 6 credits can be double-counted towards the elective requirements of the major. Therefore students should be prepared to complete 12 credits in addition to those required of their program. This will extend the length of time it takes to complete your degree.
Applicants will be notified of their admission decision from LFS Student Services by email in early June.
