Students

We would have loved for you to experience LFS by visiting campus and meeting with our students, staff and faculty. Because of these unprecedented times with COVID-19 and with our efforts to practice social distancing, we unfortunately cannot see each other in person. However, we are offering exciting ways to interact with you online. If you’re interested in exploring campus, try a virtual campus tour. For the month of June, we’ve planned tons of online outreach activities! Read more below.

Online Outreach – Meet the team!

We are current LFS students who are so excited to connect with you over the month of June. Although we’ve had to cancel all on- and off-campus events for new and prospective students, we’ve been working hard to explore other fun online options! We are excited to announce the events and activities below. But first — who are we?

We'll get back to you as quickly as we can, and do our best to accommodate your request.

First year at university can be daunting! Land One is a program for first year students in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems (LFS) and the Faculty of Forestry (FRST) that offers a unique small-group experience to help you transition from high school to university. All Land One students attend lectures together and have access to a designated study space, creating a smaller social and learning community. Also, you will have a more personalized connection with your instructors and will learn through group work, field trips and various hand-on activities.
    Catch our next live event!

Here's who will be at the session:
