Access Studies is a new program offering flexible post-secondary learning options to people of all ages and backgrounds. Through Access Studies, professionals, distance learners and people with varied academic curiosities have a new opportunity to pursue knowledge, life-long learning, and academic challenges.
As an Access Studies student you can enroll in university-level courses without registering in a degree program or undergoing the standard admissions process. You are not bound by program requirements - instead, your interests can guide course selection. You may take up to 24 credits and these credits may be later applied to other programs of study.
Visit the UBC Access Studies for more information on eligibility, costs, getting started and support services.
The Faculty of Land and Food Systems offers a variety of classes available to Access Students. One of the Facultys most popular courses for Access Students and BC Agrologists is Agroecology 260. View the Faculty Course Listings for more information.
Please note, students must contact the central UBC Access Studies office before approaching an instructor for permission.
