The Plant Science Graduate Student Society is an organization of UBC graduate students enrolled in or affiliated with the Center for Plant Research. The society’s overarching goal is to strengthen our student community in order to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment. To achieve this, the PSGSS is focused on the following objectives:

• Fundraising for the establishment of a Plant Science Graduate Award

• Increasing the visibility of its membership

• Connecting with other graduate students / societies

• Coordinating social events

• Organizing and hosting informative events

• Networking with professionals and industry in related fields
