The Learning Centre

The Learning Centre is located in the Room 260 suite in the MacMillan Building, with computer and AV support in Room 156. The Centre is an educational resource for the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia.
 

Faculty Computer Labs Location and Times

Computer Labs are located in MCML rooms 192 & 194 and are open from 8 am till 9pm. 
Students in the lab prior to 9pm can stay till 11pm, after that the room alarm will auto arm and auto lock.
 

Wireless at Macmillan Building and other Faculty buildings

The "UBC" wireless network is here at the MCML building! You can connect to the high-speed wireless network almost everywhere on campus! It's very easy to use and it's free for UBC faculty, students and staff. Review the UBC Wireless coverage map for details.

Getting a Student Email  Account

UBC ITServices offers e-mail accounts, dial-up Internet access and Web hosting to UBC students, faculty, staff and the community via its Netinfo and Interchange services. Review the Interchange website for review options. Note if you are a student you will need you student number to obtain an email account.
