The International Nutrition Major will provide students with a solid foundation in human nutrition with a strong emphasis on application in international settings. Students will focus on core and specialized Food, Nutrition and Health courses, as well as on an International Nutrition Field Studies course where they will integrate theory and practice. They will benefit from an interdisciplinary education by completing elective coursework in Inter-Professional Health and Human Services, Political Science, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Geography or other approved selections.
The International Nutrition Major will prepare students for employment in international health, research and development, while giving them the background to pursue graduate degrees in related fields.
NOTICE: There will not be any admissions to the International Nutrition major in Sept 2016 as the major is under review.
